Nomads Summer Tournament 2017
We are based at London Korfball's premier clubhouse with a great condition ground, bacon butties for breakfast, BBQ and home-baked goodies for lunch, and a bar open all day. We'd like to invite all clubs (senior, student and junior) and/or groups of friends to join us at the tournament.
The date is fixed as usual the first Sunday in June (4th) at Cheam Sports Club, Peaches Close, Cheam... we expect, as usual, teams of all levels from International, National, Local League, to student teams and beginners.
Registration will be 9.30am for a 10am prompt start for all senior teams.
Depending on the number of junior entries, they may start at the same time, or as in past years we may ask that they register an hour later at 10.30am for an 11am prompt start TBC.
Over the years we have had a number of beginner teams making for a fabulous enthusiastic atmosphere. We expect the same again and hope that clubs will take this opportunity to enter beginner teams as well as their usual competitive teams.
Junior competitions will be run wherever we have sufficient entries. Clubs entering both senior and junior sides (or just more than one junior side) should ensure that they have a 'spare' player/organiser (PER TEAM!) so that should there be any fixture/referee clashes, they are able to fulfill both (all!).
U9/11s will play mono-Korfball (4 to a team) - minimum 1 boy/1 girl on pitch, cannot play 'wrong' gender if have 'right' gender in squad.
U14s to play full pitch Korfball - must play 4 boys/4 girls - or you can play for fun with results not counting towards positions.
The cost is reduced for advance payment:
1st Senior team / £35 - Paid in advance (£40 - Paid on the day) All subsequent senior teams / £30 (£40 - Paid on the day) U14s / £25 (£30 - Paid on the day) U11s - mono-Korf (4 on 4 end to end) - £20 (£25 - Paid on the day) U9s - mono-Korf (4 on 4 end to end) - £20 (£25 - Paid on the day)

Deadline: Wed 31st May. We may close early if 'ideal' number of teams for tournament format met early. Those who organise will know!
